Millie, your question has multiple parts to it. (1) Mold - BZ is tropical, even in the mountains you will get mold. (2) Cayo Land - currently I have no listings for that area, I do however have a 10 acre development that is cleared, roads are in, and it is close to town/medical facilities (1.5 miles from Corozal). In Corozal there are expat communities and we are close to the Mexican border so shopping and larger hospitals are close by in Chetumal. If your group is set on the Cayo area then I recommend you contact a realtor in Spanish Lookout. (3) Escorting - I do not know anyone who escorts items from the US to BZ. Most people use a customs broker and household goods are either personally driven down by the owners and cleared through a customs broker at the MEX/BZ border or shipped from Florida to BZ City. From BZ City there customers arrange for their items to clear customs and they freight it to the final destination. Jeff

I am representing five couples who are interested in buying property in the Cayo District or Spanish Lookout area. Some of our members health cannot take mold. Others want mountain views while some want to be on a river. We all want nice breezes that will dry out the long rainy season. Our group includes a dentist, a builder, a heavy equipment operator, a gardner, an accountant, a Western Auto store owner, a university president, a community organizer, a retired USAF chaplain, and a school teacher. We want to live on acreage that has utilities already in, preferably at least one residential structure and has a decent road to the property. We intend on raising livestock and growing fruits and vegetables. I need to be introduced to someone who will escort a truck with our must-have belongings from the U.S. to Bz and possibly heavy equipment. Can you help me? Do you know of the best priced farm with buildings already on the property, or do you know of the best priced flat land that would be easily developed. In that case, we will need a RV for the first couple to live in. Is there someone in the Mennonite village who will correspond with us? Please pass on my info so I can get these answers. Thank you, Millie
